Director
John Lin joined JAFCO Asia in 2007 and is currently Director, responsible for investments activities in Taiwan. John brings with him more than 9 years of venture capital experience.
Prior to JAFCO Asia, John was Vice President in CTB Financial Management & Consulting Co., Ltd. (CTB FMCC) from 2002 to 2007. CTB FMCC was established in December 2001 by Chiao Tung Bank to be the venture capital arm for Mega Holding Co., Ltd. During his 5 years at CTB FMCC, he had at least 5 successful exits including E2O Communication Inc., GeoVision Technologies Inc., Taiwan IC Packaging Co., Ltd., Harmony Electronics Corporations and Advanced Analog Technology Inc.
From 2001 to 2002, John served as Assistant Vice President at KG Venture Capital Corporation (KG VCC), a new venture capital start up company with total funding of US$170mil. Prior to KG VCC, John was an Investment Manager at Hantech Venture Capital Corporation/H&Q Taiwan from 1998 to 2001.
